This Little Light o' Mine

Each year for the past 100 years the folks on the Balboa Penninsula in Newport Beach have been decking their homes with lights to celebrate the holiday season. They are serious about it too. There's a contest and it is a big deal. There are two committees that walk/boat around to judge the decorations and the winners get some sweet prizes.


This year my fav has to be the house above. The owner not only went all out with the lights but he coordinated them to the music so that with each new beat the lights of a certain color group would go off with the music. AND there was a countdown. It just so happened to be 12 days from Christmas (insert song here), which was fun. AND there was "snow."
