I'm going down to South America for our summer/their winter to do something fun, learn the language, and hopefully do something that will benefit a community. I am trying to decide between an all-in-one big company trip (via Idealist.org) or a smaller more piece by piece trip that is more locally run.If you have ever traveled to a country to live for two months, done a short service project, or had to decide between the big or small style company to work with, please send me a note or comment.
