Easter Sunday

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday.

I celebrated Easter by going to the beach, tanning, reading, painting, etc. to take advantage of the glorious weather we experienced. (Afterall, that's one of the major reasons why I am in CA.) Having just that few hours to myself was a blissful break from the norm and bonus- I am safely tanned due to my "base" of self tanner/Hawaiian sun and some serious sunscreen.

On my way back from the beach I stopped by my fav nail mecca and happened to run into one of my long-lost sorority sisters, which was seriously random. She graduated when I was a sophomore so we know each other a little but it's been a long time since we chatted. It was so great to catch up with her a bit and realize that although everything has changed, nothing had changed in our ability to strike up a random conversation. She's awesome.

Then, one of the best things about the weekend was getting my "Happy Easter" call from C. Sparklepants. I LOVE THAT GIRL! She is too funny and totally cracked me up with all of her Ameriwhorps stories. I can't wait to see her in Sept.
